Matsuda in a funk :(

A little surprising Matsuda was affected by the upperclassmen's words but at least it got resolved quick enough that he was able to get the position. It was a little amusing to see how happy he gets when eating Hamburg steak.

yeah i thought all he cared about was winning.suddenly giving way doesnt seem like him at all.besides yusa is one person he doesnt even need giving way to.

Good episode, and now it is was Matsuda turn to grow and change after Mizushima... Who is the next one??

Akira’s lunch with the little message reminds me of lunches my mom use to pack for me as a kid haha. So cute! Pork cutlets are awesome, but I gotta go with the hamburger steak like Matsuda lol.

I was surprised Matsuda lost. Dude was in his own head too much because he’s starting to grow and change. He’s opening up! Good he was able to recognize that and get his head back into the game to secure a spot in the end.

The good news: Matsuda is finally expressing himself more

That was a fun slide show.

It feels so unfair that Matsuda loses so much ground to Mizushima, when his style of playing is messy and only compensates with stubbornness, whereas Matsuda only has his lack of stamina as a handicap. Stubborn players are the main weakness of those lacking in stamina, so it is quite unfair for him, but at least he passed this wall in front of him.

Everyone in shock that Matsuda properly thanked Ayumi lolll, he's turning into a human :') Glad that he got out of his funk in time for the decisive match though, and we'll see if his momentum carries into the tournament
